Weekly Art Classes
New Classes Begin August 17th 2026
Mondays
Enroll per Semester or Monthly, cancel any time
3-4pm ages 10 and up
4-5pm ages 5-9
Parent waiting area is under a shaded porch near the studio. We provide light refreshments for parents and toys for younger siblings.
Tuition: $100/month (4 classes are offered each month, with the exception of August. August tuition includes 3 classes plus a one-time, $25 materials fee)
We accept PCA funding. If you would like us to become a Vendor with an additional charter school, please contact us!

Do you offer private lessons?

Do you have any classes for younger children (preschool or TK?)
Typically yes. For Fall Semester 2026 I am pausing the PreK class as I develop a new curriculum for the younger ages called Awe & Wonder. It will be offered as a Parent/Child tandem class. Seamlessly linking painting, drawing and art appreciation, it’s designed to spark a lifelong love for creativity and a joyful bond between parent and child.
My hope is to launch this class for Spring 2027. If you’d like to get on the waitlist, please email rebecca@artisansandmakers.com
Over the Summer, we offer week long and one-day workshops. Kids will deepen their art skills, flex their creativity and have a blast!

Summer 2027 Art Camp in Escondido

A Week Long Camp featuring Artists of the Month from HFA Curriculum
Tentative Date: June 14th - 18th 2027 (Mon. - Fri.)
Time: 9-11 am
Location: Dixon Lake Park, 1700 La Honda Dr, (shady glen picnic area, to the left of ranger station if facing the lake)
Cost: $100 per week (sibling discount $80 after one sibling is enrolled)
Ages: 6 and up

Summer 2027 One Day Art Workshop in Fallbrook
One Day Fine Art Camps. Pet Portraits in Acrylic Paint, Oil Pastel and other Mixed Media
Tentative Date: Thursday June 24th
Time: 10am - 2pm
Location: Main Studio (off Gird Road; address will be given after registration)
Cost: $50 per day
Ages: 6 and up

Our art studio is located at our home in Fallbrook and is spacious and well-equipped with art supplies and plenty of natural light. We mix up the activities between interactive games, lively discussions, “Master Technique” demonstrations, painting, drawing and appreciating each other’s art and company! We’ll end the year with an Art Exhibition!
Founder/Instructor Rebecca Faubion has 20+ years experience teaching all ages and has run numerous art camps and classes. She holds an EdM from Harvard (Arts-in-Education, ’06) a BA in Literature (UCSC) and is passionate about unlocking the beautiful treasury of art (history + techniques) for today’s young people.
